The symposium explores the visual and literary representations of the human and the divine in multiple geographical, cultural, and religious contexts. It is a collaboration between the University of Vienna and the University of Chicago as part of their Strategic Partnership, and is prepared in collaboration with the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien.
