Erasmus

General Information

Within the framework of the ERASMUS student mobility programme, it is possible for all art history students from their third semester onwards to spend one or two semesters at a partner university abroad.

This period abroad is credited as part of the overall programme of study. Participants are entitled to a mobility grant and are exempt from fees at both the home and partner universities.

General Information (procedure, grants, partner universities, reports from earlier Erasmus students etc.) is provided by the International Office, 1010, Universitätsring 1.

Opening times: Monday and Wednesday, 10:00 - 12:30,
Tuesday and Thursday, 14:00 - 16:00,
Friday: closed.

Applications are made in January to the relevant ERASMUS-coordinator at the institute. Nominations are completed by the end of March at the latest.

In total there are 54 places at 31 partner universities in 27 European cities.

Visiting art history students coming to Vienna with an Erasmus grant should report to the relevant Erasmus coordinator according to their country of origin (as listed above).

Reports on the experiences of previous Erasmus students from Vienna can be found here.
